Addicted to sheep

Your administrator, Viv, won two free tickets to the World Premier of the documentary film "Addicted to Sheep" at Sheffield last Saturday. The film is subtitled "one family's quest to breed the perfect sheep".

I really enjoyed it. It's a lovely film to watch and very true to life as I know it.

Basically "Addicted to Sheep" charts a year in the life of a tenant hill farmer and his family in Upper Teesdale as they try to breed the perfect sheep. Through the rain, shine, sleet and snow we see them toil away against the stunning landscapes of North East England and witness the hard work and good humour thatbinds this remote community together.

I'm not a film critic so if you want to read more about what others think about the film click here

Just to say I'm trying to get a showing or two in Cumbria, so watch this space.
